The recipe for the Sardine Patties was created by Jernej Kitchen. They’re a great addition to your menu. The patties should be approximately 2 cm thick to be cooked more easily. A great serving tip is a burger. Toast a hamburger bun, spread with cocktail sauce (or mayonnaise). Add layers of fresh lettuce, a potato patty with sardines with lemon, tomato, onion, pickles and sauce. You can add several fresh herbs to the patties, such as: coriander, basil, oregano.

boiled potatoes
3 x 90 g
Delamaris Sardines with Lemon
1 handful
fresh parsley
1 komad
spring onion
1/2
chilli
1/2 žličice
ground red pepper
1/2 žličice
salt
1/2 žličice
pepper

Instructions
Put the cooked potatoes and Sardines with Lemon into a bowl and mash well with a fork. Add the chopped fresh parsley, spring onion and ½ of chilli and ground red pepper, salt and pepper. Stir well, add the egg and shape into patties.
Put a saucepan on the stove and fry the patties in turns, each side for about 3–4 minutes.
Serve in a bun with sauce and vegetables or with fresh seasonal salad.
