These prod­ucts con­tain the blue fish Sar­di­na Pilchardus, which got its name from the Ital­ian island Sar­dinia, which used to have an abun­dance of sar­dines. Today, sar­dines live in the Adri­at­ic and Mediter­ranean Seas, and the Atlantic Ocean. Dela­maris’ prod­ucts con­tain the Adri­at­ic sar­dine, which is known for its greater taste and qual­i­ty when com­pared to oth­er sardines.
